WHO WE ARE

Supporting the New York Islanders has always been the number one goal of the New York Islanders Booster Club. We are the Islanders Official Support Group that was formed in 1972 in conjunction with the Team and Incorporated in 1975 as a Not-For-Profit Organization. We are also recognized by the NHL and a member of the National Hockey League Booster Clubs.

Over the years we have evolved due to changing times, but you can find us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (X).

Our membership extends to many other states and countries. Singles, Couples and Families are all welcome in the Booster Club. We even have 3rd generation families as members. Once you are a member, you are part of the Booster Club Family. We meet at club activities such as Viewing Parties, Meetings, Mets and LI Ducks games as well as trips to other NHL cities. You can find many of us between periods in the hall outside Section 316 (near the Offside Tavern Bar) at UBS Arena.

An important part of the Booster Club is our Charity work. Over the most recent years we have donated thousands of dollars, Toys and School Supplies to well deserving Charities such as the Anders Lee’s Kick Kancer in the Kan, Clark Gillies Children’s Foundation, Island Harvest, John Theissen Children's Foundation and most recently Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center. All this is made possible with the generosity and help of our members!
